When my son was about 2 months old we went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch. There was no changing table in the bathroom, so we changed him on the booth seat. Before I had a kid, I would have been in the "Good lord thats gross crowd" now im in the "I dont care what you think" crowd.

then what's the problem?

With her being kicked out? None at all. I would have told them to take it somewhere else. If they had a problem with that then they can go. Just a middle ground approach is what I am suggesting. Otherwise, I'm with all of you on this one.

she should have went back to her car. I don't think she should have been kicked out but asked to do it somewhere else.

Or at least the frinkin' bathroom.

If the OT thinks I am trashy, then I feel like i've succeeded in life.

It's the restaurant owners prerogative to have a changing table or not, but it's a poor decision not to have one.

I was changing my 3 week old last night and she decided to projectile shite all over both of my forearms. That's why the mom in the story deserved to be kicked out. You never know what's going to happen when you take a diaper off.

No they shouldn't. My GF and I were eating at an Italian cafe' in the old Catfish Town when a lady at the next table changed her kid's shitty diaper at the table. To make matters worse, she left it on the table when she left. It was really gross.

That's disgusting. Any reason the bathroom counter wouldn't have worked for you?

That's fricking disgusting. I'm sure everyone around enjoyed smelling human feces while they ate. This is like the stupid counts who insist on breastfeeding feeding in public because it's "beautiful". (sometimes is is btw )

If I went to the bathroom and took a shite in my pants then came back and put my shite filled underwear on the table, you think they should just ask me to put my underwear somewhere else and let me stay there and eat?

Dude it's nasty. Saying you dont care is just saying you're lazy. If its a shite diaper you dont know how bad of a diaper it is...and it can get on the booth, and sincere you are too lazy to get up to Change thr baby I doubt you are disinfecting the shite spot. Also if its a shite diaper you don't have a can around...so you have a shite smell at the booth.
its fricking disgusting

How is popping a tittie out and changing a diaper anything alike? And they don't do it because it's "beautiful", they do it because their baby is hungry.

She could have changed the 4 month olds diaper on her lap.

I'm referring to the ones who do it in public places without any discretion

This is it right here.

My point was that they should have tried to remedy the situation without kicking out first. If they argued then they should go.

Was no counter. Only a little vanity with a sink. We did it in the booth seat, not on the table top.

Really? It's a naked baby.

If this is really an issue for you then maybe you shouldn't have your baby somewhere where glancing a naked babe is going to provoke arousal.

Bunch of puritans.
