Time for her to roll back home. My 48 hour ""put up with her during the Christmas Holiday Time"" has expired.

Must chap your arse knowing your wife will act just like her one day.

For Christmas-Luckily don't have to see her this year.

Lost mine in 2019, miss her.
She loved me (no RTR weirdness) like she was my own mother.

It's weird to me how many people hate their mother in law.

Mine is a hoot to be around….but doesn’t look like redneck Christmas in Bay Springs this year

Both my current and my ex-MIL(rip) were pretty great people.

Mine will be here this afternoon and that’s it. She doesn’t bother me much, but drives my wife and her siblings nuts. No one wants her around for the holidays.
I am taking notes and hoping I dont turn into a miserable old man later in life.

On one hand I love my MIL very much but on the other hand it scares the shite out of me that my wife will be like her one day.

I think most rational people want to emulate their parents’ strong points and eliminate their weak points that are toxic.
We can learn a lot of great lessons from our parents but also create our own beliefs that better everyone around us.

My MIL is a little annoying in that she is ditzy as hell and talks non-stop but she's generally a pretty nice lady and I can get away from her for breaks as needed. She rarely stays for more than two nights at a time so I can endure for it for that long.

Finally, the trashy Christmas PbP thread has arrived.
You're gonna have to hit her, or at least call her a whore or something to really get things rolling.

Fish and relatives smell after 3 days. Parents used to say this when I was a kid.

You know that some women can be absolute bitches and are never satisfied. Of course they aren’t all women. Some women are living saints. If you happen to have a mother-in-law in the category of bitch your wife needs to set her straight from the beginning.

My MIL has been married 4 times, engaged 5 times

Dissolve three of four Benadryls in her drink. Take the fight right out of her.

A husband his wife and mother-in-law went to Israel to visit the Holy Land. While they were there, unfortunately the mother-in-law passed away.
The husband and wife went to the morgue and the mortician told them that they could have her shipped back to the states for $5000 or bury her in the holy land for $150. The man looked at his wife and then told the mortician that they will have her shipped back.
The stunned mortician asked why would you spend that kind of money when you could just bury her here for $150
The man looked at the mortician and said, " a man died here 2000 years ago, was buried for 3 days and rose from the dead, I just can't take that chance!"
