Which school in this area says old money/elitist/WASP/"white privilege" , etc.?

Basically, what would be loathed by your typical white SJW as being "privileged," etc.?

Duke is characterized as fitting the mold compared other big athletics schools, but Overall would say Hampton-Sydney College.

Thoughts?

Honestly, Duke and Hampton-Sydney arent even close

It is The College of William & Mary. Second oldest college in the U.S. and have strict enrollment percentages for race and gender, among other things.

William&Mary, Hampden Sidney, VMI are all up there. I don't think one stands out head and shoulders above the rest. Then you have Hollins, Sweet Briar, Mary Baldwin, etc, which are womens colleges and pretty exclusive.

ETA: And Washington & Lee.

Another reason I detest living in Virginia! The average parents in this state cannot afford to send their kids to college...even VCU.

Interesting. W&M is certainly up there, and definitely old but being public I thought some others may rank above.

It's subjective question with no right answers, just curious

If I had an opinion I'd likely say your entire SJW clause was because you're remedial. Anti-SJW rhetoric and it's followers are just as weak minded as the SJW crowd

I listed Washington and Lee as second in OP but erased it to make more concise. They are up there for sure

The SJW part is simply a further example of what I'm looking to define. It's a buzz word right now.

I ignored the SJW part of your OP. It's not much more than an internet meme IYAM.

I lived roughly 30 miles away from W&M for 6 years. I learned a lot about them when I graduated from highschool, 10 of my classmates applied, all with GPAs over a 4.2, and only 1 got in. For a reference point, I went to a private school that was a whole lot tougher than the public schools in the area. Our base classes were on par or tougher than the area schools' AP classes. Out of 43 students, I placed 37th with a 3.86. we had 25 with a 4.0 or better.

Back to W&M. They are public, but they get away with things I have never seen another public school be able to. Our Valedictorian didnt get in, but our Salutatorian did with slightly lesser grades. One was black and middle middle class and had tons of extra-curricular work that colleges love, the other was white, upper class, and did nothing outside of one sport. They will not go over their designed percentage parameters for race and gender, and if given a choice between two equal options, money wins.

Fills the SJW quota for you.

I don't think anybody considers Duke a school for old money privileged white kids. It is a school for nerds and rich Yankees who weren't connected enough to get into an Ivy school.

The Virginia schools are what you are looking for. Or Coastal Carolina.

I'd add Wake Forest to the list of elitist.

There are no true elitist schools in any of those states. Not IVy league level, for sure. Mainly because we're still talking about the South, where there are not as many elitist snobs, like in new England.

With that, along with the others listed, id add a few like Converse College (women) and Davidson (used to be men).

Anyone that is from Virginia knows that Washington and Lee is the most elitist and old money college. UVA is close but #2.
