I've gone with Lucky brand for years and they have served me well. However they are starting to look a bit on the downtrodden side. Any brands I should be considering? I've heard online that Mott & Bow sell a quality pair.

And no skinny jeans or baggy style

Unfortunately, most of the designer brands are pushing these skinny jeans with stupid designs. I bought a pair of Seven jeans a year ago (the regular kind, dark blue). Most comfortable pair of jeans I have ever purchased and look great. Similar feel to Lucky. Although expensive, they still look good and have worn well.

This is one of the many reasons I don't wear jeans. I have no idea what's acceptable or not.

Try out some of the ones being made with the new denim that has the stretch material built in. Sounds trashy I know and I laughed at the idea when I heard about it. Reminded me of those ones Chuck Norris used to advertise. But I got a pair (Lee Modern) and they are amazing. I have a couple of other brands now made with that fabric and don't see going back. More comfortable than regular jeans which I didn't think was possible.

Try the JCrew 770 fit. Slim fit, but not skinny.
