If you are going to Tampico's then you do not need to ask for advice about what to do in Morgan City.

Peej simply adopted St Mary parish. I was born in St. Mary Parish, molded by it. By the time I had experienced another parish it was revolting.

Do NOT go to Cafe JoJos. It hasn't been good in 15 years. Go to Tampicos and have a good time.

I haven’t been there in about 2 years.

They don’t have a buffet anymore, and their snack shop leaves a lot to be desired.

Gumbo, hot dogs, and nachos are pretty much your only choices.

I wonder if Boyd has any plans to move on land like the Treasure Chest.

The 3rd floor banquet room and adjacent buffet/kitchen would have made a decent sports bar/betting area.

I know they did sports betting, but did they put any effort into it instead of a just a counter and a few kiosks?

They used to have a good Cuban restaurant but I don’t know if it’s still open since I haven’t been down there in awhile

It used to be called The Latin Corner. They have since moved and renamed to Pacos.

Best Cuban sandwiches you’ll ever have.

even before that, wasn’t it simply called the Cuban sandwich shop? I haven’t had Pacos, I also haven’t been down there in several years though

Ain't much in Morgan City. There's Larry's fish house in Itta Benna and the Crystal Grill in Greenwood.

SS, idk when the last time you went there but they don’t have a burrito named that now. I ate at Tampicos for 35 years before moving from the area
