Monroe waiter accused of stealing woman's credit card for a shopping spree

A waiter at a Monroe restaurant is behind bars after police say he allegedly stole a customer's credit card and went on a shopping spree.
The report says a woman ate lunch at Rawz on Sterlington Road a few weeks ago when she never got her card back from her server.
When she realized and went to get it, the restaurant was already closed.
The victim told police she saw two large charges to her account - a $400 purchase at Target, and a $3,000 purchase at Best Buy, which was declined.
Police say surveillance video showed the suspect, Phouvong Keomalithong at both stores.
Police then went to the restaurant and were able to match Keomalithong to the surveillance video.
He is charged with two counts of unauthorized use of a credit card. His bond is set at $10,000.

Rawz used to be good, but over the past couple years the quality has gone done and the prices gone up. Still busy all the time.
