"The Internet is blowing up with rumblings regarding the status of CM Punk with this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw emanating from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. There is already plenty of speculation out leading to misinformation, however, I'll recap everything I know so you can tie this story together. On Saturday evening I communicated with one of my sources who was led to believe that Punk would be returning to WWE on this week’s episode of Raw. We talked about it at length, however, I decided against running a story until I gathered more information. Early Sunday morning I spoke with another source that confirmed that Vince McMahon has been working around the clock to get Punk back for Wrestlemania XXX. This source had no knowledge of my conversation on Saturday evening, thus I was able to double source that Punk working for WWE again is something that is relatively widespread. This is a change from last week, when I classified a Punk return at Raw as doubtful. That’s where the story stops. The rumors started heating up on Saturday evening that Punk could be returning and on Sunday morning we confirmed there were extraordinary efforts being made to bring him back for Raw in Chicago, leading to a spot on the Wrestlemania card. With that being said, there is no confirmation that Punk is returning to WWE on Monday night. If you heard that, or believe that, please realize that is based on an assumption and not a fact. The first I was made aware of the rumblings was on Saturday evening just after 7:00 PM EST."
