Good Morning. Where's terd pickler? I wanted to tell him I got my Roku working with WatchESPN. It suddenly wouldn't last week and I googled it and found an article about Disney shutting it off(they own ESPN) for Roku. So I just figured that was that. WatchESPN won't work on Smart TVs with Roku
But it wasn't. I was having an issue where the activation code screen on smart phone would work but it WOULD not send me to verify cox account(mama and daddy). So result was I could see all the shows and listings but nothing would play.
I found that if I turnt wifi off on smartphone and used LTE, it would prompt me for cox credentials. This was odd in a curious way to suggest that cox can sneakily verify your subscription to their services without you knowing when you're on a wifi device connected to cox internet. creepy in a way
but hey it worked.

That's a lot of nerd talk
I'm an IT nerd and it was baffling. I like to watch my LSU baseball games, main! I was deleting and re-adding the channel and all trying to troubleshoot it. And when it wouldn't verify I'd be like "this is bulllshit fackkkkk!!!"
And to honest there are some apps and quirky shite about the Roku. Fx JUST got on board making Roku the frickin last device to get it. And Showtimeanywhere was an unusable trainwreck for whole last year. Re-added it few months ago and it finally works well as the others.

I know. I wrote in the thread that I was using WatchESPN on my Roku so I knew it worked.

I had an issue with the activation code thing on my phone too. I could get to the login part but when I'd type in the username everything disappeared. I ended up having to get on an actual computer to do the login/activation code part.
I use bleuman's Cox credentials... we're cool like that.

Hey mikel.I've had to enter activation codes for ESPN for my Roku at least 3 times.
Not sure why it loses it every so often.
I ran over my allotted Gigabytes watching YouTube thru the Roku. There's more to watch on YouTube than on Netflix.
PJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Skillet,I gained 14 lbs last month in 30 days.My Doctor was not impressed.
Breyers Gellato.
