Do you have a tub in one of the bathrooms that back up to your master closet? If so, the tub-trap could be open and ground moisture could be the culprit.
To fix, you'll have to create an inspection hatch in your master closet behind the tub and fill the tub box with foam or concrete (although the concrete will be harder to remove if you ever have to repair the tub drain).
Incidentally you should have this inspection hatch anyway to check for termites if you live in Southern La.

I do have the inspection hatch. Will have to check the tub trap. Thanks
