If you are a GenX-er, odds are you had a hot chick in high school that drove one of these

No self-respecting 90's hot chick drove a white eclipse. Had to be red.

We had a fine as hell chick on the dance line that had a Porsche 911. Back in '85 they were 40,000 K. But she had a amazing personality to go with her looks. If Nostradamus is still on here, he knows exactly who I am taking about.

That would be the GSX model....which I'm fairly certain is the model in the OP(intercooler big tipoff). At the least, it's a GS-T.

buddy of mine had the Dodge Stealth model. He launched it so hard once that it twisted the frame enough to shatter the back window.

what a fricking great era of cars.

I still have a 2008 Special Edition Eclipse and it’s under 100k miles. Never needed a tuneup and always starts on the 1st key turn provided the battery still has a charge. (The alarm has a blinking light that cannot be disabled so it drains the battery over time since the car only gets driven about 1/year now.

Really should look into getting the hail damage fixed but it will require painting the top of the car. East Texas springtime hail about the size of tennis balls was so bad several insurance companies got together and rented a pasture where they set up a temporary claim center for everyone. I had a check for about $2500 for the repair just never got around to it.

Most of the chicks from my high school days (‘80-‘83) drove GM G body cars.
Buick Regal, Oldsmobile Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
