Missed the Nawlins Airshow over the weekend? No problem

Enjoyed the Nawlins air show and the Blue Angels yesterday.
Weather was perfect but the traffic and the way the local police handled letting hundreds of cars pass up the people waiting in an hour long line to cut in at the entrance gate will deter me from ever going to that show again.
I like the Thunderbirds. I give them a slight edge over the Blue Angels.

I hope you enjoyed the copious amounts of chemicals those fricking government jets dropped on your sheeple. Just look at the chemtrails coming off those jets in that photo.

Not going to judge one over the other. The F-16 and F-18 are awesome planes and the men and women from both branches of service who maintain and fly these machines are the best of the best of our military.

Love me some Fat Albert! Too bad it's currently out of commission and unable to tour with the team.
This article is from August of last year. Looks like the airframe has reached its end of service and it's needs a major overhaul or replacement..

See my edit. I overheard someone mention it at the show yesterday but hadn't looked into it until just now. That article was the first Google result for searching "Blue Angels Fat Albert".

You can scroll thru the media on their page and see a time line of pics. Looks like she was definitely in for a major overhaul. New paint and everything. A recent tweet said it'll return "Spring '17".
