If I get another one of these emails, I may end it all.
Multiple emails per day received. Been reading online forums etc and from what I gather, you basically can't stop it except to delete the account completely.
Anyone successfully stopped this BS?

I have a rare xbox username. I get this all the time. Not much you can do. A bot is trying to log in with scraped info. Just turn on 2 factor authy with an app not a phone number. And relax. I'd also go passwordless so they can't just spam the password.

Was able to fix this after a year or so daily emails. Somehow found instructions to swap my MS account to another email address or something like that.

Yeah you can add an alias email. Something like footballisawesome@outlook.com And when they put in the email they have it won't work. Because they don't know the alias email. IIRC you don't swap the email on the account, it's just a alias. To stop shite like this.

Spammers do this to email accounts without MSFT accounts.
I get these every other day or so at my personal account, which has no MSFT ones associated.
Hacker-spammers have my personal email and just try to login to various sites using it and requesting a new password.

I ended up having to dissociate everything from my MSFT account and delete it. My FB was getting 50+ login attempts from Pakistan every day.

I get a bunch of one time sign in codes for my microsoft account. From Germany, China, Russia, the US, Turkey. I have 2FA on a phone app and I have no password. So all they can do is spam a one time sign in code to a secondary email that is also passwordless with 2FA on an app.
