Of course money doesn't buy happiness but Williams couldn't cope with issues like his marriages, kids, health(he had Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia), having to constantly put on a fake persona.
This dude is talking about being bored while having to wait for his friends to get off work to go out that night.
