I could. Perhaps you just had shitty parents. I work way harder than my dad ever did. And he'll admit that.
Jumped straight to conclusions and assumed it's the parents fault. You definitely fit the bill of this thread. My parents made me work my arse off growing up however there was not near the amount of pressure on our generation to perform as our parents generation IMO. I am sure every generation is going to be the shittiest ever but I can tell you that we were way to spoon fed for real life.

I remember when i was in college taking my engineering classes and my uncle kept telling me how much harder it was when he was in school because the didn't have calculators. frick off. We had to do much more difficult stuff because we did have calculators.

Computers tell a different story.
Your old man had to add everything up by hand as well as draft and edit his own letters/memos and/or he had to work with his hands without power tools.
You fricking pansy

tell that to the plethora of people who had to go to college to "succeed." Please. More pressure has been put on Gen Y to succeed than the Baby Boomers by a country fricking mile.

Correct. The vast majority are failing to overcome that pressure or even try very hard to do so.

I have seen two post by you and can already tell that you are way too stuck up your own arse thinking that you are great. Just always keep in mind that someone better than you has already done what you are doing otherwise you wouldn't be doing it. I see a whole lot dumbasses with college degrees that will never "succeed". Willing to bet that you are the guy in the meeting always believing you are the smartest in the room and that you are above what they are talking about. Only a matter of time before you are humbled.

Millennials today want a $80K starting pay job with no experience
Well, want and expect are two different things. We all want more money, that's not just a millenial thing. If you were implying expecting, well, I don't think I have met one recent grad with even an internship under his belt expecting $80k.

I don't know your situation but my initial reaction was to say "frick that".
By my rough math and lack of information thats about $9.60 an hour. I would definitely be saying frick that.

Probably too tired to go out and blow his money. Probably saving more than someone making 60k but partying and buying shite he doesn't need.
I haven't worked 80, but did work 60's and I would not be doing much afterwards.
