VAN ZANDT AND RAINS COUNTIES...
At 626 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located over Canton, moving north at 25 mph.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado near I-20.
IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Canton, Wills Point, Grand Saline, Edgewood, Emory, East Tawakoni,
Fruitvale and Point.

gotcha, went over there a few years ago to see some friends that came down from OK and it was over the second Monday weekend, maybe the first one was a holiday, it's been a while
