What is the mechanism by which this supposedly caused "brain damage." Don't let scary words like E. coli or Shiga toxin frighten you - this is one of many causes of food poisoning that is typically self-limited. I see no mention of hospitalization or ICU stay. Sorry, but I'm skeptical. People tend to believe everything plaintiff lawyers say. Don't.

I was skeptical too, but the girl isn’t suffering from hypertension and cognitive decline. Her body has been rendered useless, and the effects occurred right after the food poisoning contamination.

Wendy’s needs to be held responsible.

Convinced now?

Sure, but none of that was in the OP. Call me an a-hole, but if all I've got is the plaintiff lawyer's claims, I'll always be skeptical.

The pics I posted should be more than enough.

If you still don't want to believe it, then yeah, you're a major a-hole. I mean we're talking about an 11 year old girl who will never be the same for Christ sake.

They're lucky that there's no chance of me being on that jury. $20M would be chump change compared to what I would want to award.
