Does reading comprehension escape you? It said proud of the ones making a difference. Was I talking about someone like that?
I was talking about people who make a difference in their community, the ones you don't hear about. The ones whose voices won't be heard over the media's need for a story

You are posting in a Michael Brown thread. Your very first post actually. Arguing with posters in here. So you are saying you agree he was a criminal? That assaulted a police officer and tried to take his weapon?

Because, believe it or not some narrow minded individuals have preconceived notions of a person bc of the color of their skin.

It ain't preconceived when we see displays like this on tv and then try to find where white people have done something as stupid. You want some foreign comparisons to such displays?

So the media's need for a story has NOTHING to do with the black community's overwhelming support of Michael Brown?

Tell me about the pride of those burning that bitch down in Ferguson .... over a properly dispatched thug and based on a manufactured lie from a black person on the scene.

And I'll be damned if I see some old white men, who don't know a damn thing about being black in this country, insult and demean us and not say one fricking word about it

I know what you mean, SS, like the thousands of cops, of all stripes, white, black, latino, asian, etc., who have to strap on, armor up and gird their loins to go and ATTEMPT to police fricked up barrios in East L.A., housing projects/demilitarized zones in Chicago and the South Bronx, and trailer parks/meth labs in Middlesboro, Kentucky, who don't engage in police brutality and, in fact, want to try to make things a little bit safer for that school kid, single mom or young man working at McDonald's, who are stuck in that shite with no way out - protect those people from "gentlemen" like Michael Brown?

Are those some of the people who are making a difference in their community that you don't hear about? Is that who you're talking about?

No they don't. They need to fix themselves to be a part of a civilized society. Otherwise we will regress to a country akin to African nations.

I am. Your animalistic people at Ferguson has made me that way. What is your excuse? Cop killed a TPOS?

You have failed to understand what I wrote. You said blah, blah, blah. I love .. yes, you read it right, LOVE those people. Raised in a very dark community. There has never been a time in gramps life that I wasn't around people of color. BUT I see so many pulling off this crazy shite over a frickin LIE. You expect me to see all black people to fit into the good category? Sorry, but that ain't happening. They all look alike now.

Go clean your own house. Maybe my grandkids will trust your people more. You have already ruined it for me ... and my kids.

It seems that we see more blatant displays of racism from the black community than any other. Notice I said blatant. Those fgts sharpton, jackson, and even our sorry arse supposed president's preacher openly preaches it...but it's soooo ok for them but not another race to do the same. Why is that?

I hate how people stop even analyzing the situation once they have realize that the victim was a thug. I hate that people don't think there should be a way to consistently subdue unarmed suspects and that the police should be held to the standard of being able to do that. I hate how stupid the majority of the protestors are and how bad they are at logic and their terrible leadership.

People stop analyzing because the suspect was a thug. And there is a way to subdue unarmed suspects... It starts with talking to them I would assume.

quote:

Bad logic dude. He didn't approach him without a gun and obviously had no reservations with using his gun if need-be. Approaching a person legally with the full power of the state behind him and a gun is hardly brave.

Bad logic here! So the police are pussies because they have guns? Dude, you do understand they carry them for a reason... What would you expect, he gets out puts down his gun and badge like in the films and tells homeboy to put up his dukes? This isn't WWE wrasllin or a sly Stallone movie...

quote:

I'm not saying he's necessarily a coward either because of that. But confronting an unarmed suspect when you are armed is hardly immunity from being called a wimp.

Like, you do get that this is a big part of their job, right?

They burned down their own community, looted, etc. .. all based on a lie? I missed that.
