I know one of the big debate topics is building a full-length wall to keep out the illegals. Looking at Google Earth, how hard it is for Mexicans to cross into the US along the coastal waterways where we rely on natural waterways as deterrents? Are these segments generally patrolled by border patrol? It seems like it would be easy to swim across at night and make your way inland quickly.

Its not about succeeding.

It's about sending a message.

Start cracking down on any business that hires illegals and the problem goes away.

Thousands try, many are caught. These areas are heavily patrolled, including heat marking from planes.

They also have tunnels that they just walk right through, so I don't think a wall is gonna do shite. It is fun to say though.

Where do you think the term "wet back" came from?

It is easy. Usually consists of a contact in Mexico housing them near the border and bringing them to a location near the border to cross. Then once they cross (maybe a 3 mile hike) they meet a vehicle, load up, and are taken to a near by town. Then they meet another person and are brought to Houston.

You forgot one part! They are dropped off south of the checkpoint and picked up north of the checkpoint. During that walk, I get to have some fun!

That would certainly help.

The problem is the GOPe wants cheap labor and the Dems want votes...

Better yet, for every Central or South American that comes into our country from Mexico looking for work, we send a lifetime welfare leech to Mexico. Mexico will build that wall for us with a quickness.

Free market economics. They will work for cheaper, so they get the job. I can think of nothing more American.
