I moved in to a house a few months ago. Across the street lives a Mexican family. Awesome family, done nothing wrong. But, The last few weeks, the grandparents have been sitting in the front yard digging up small parts of it. What the hell is going on? I know I could ask them, but I'm not sure how to even start that conversation

When they grow, they will harvest the fruit and put in into a wheeled burro.

Go ask them.
Back when i first got married, my Mexican neighbors were a stripper and a bouncer.

We had no interaction for six months until they pounded on our door on xmas day to bring us tamales and and a tiny baseball glove for our newborn. People are generally better than your give them credit for.
