Memphis guy just hit me up for money in a Waffle House parking lot in SC.
When he said he was from Memphis, I immediately thought of everyone on here who talks about how crappy Memphis is and how ppl should be afraid.

Me too unfortunately Memphis killed the blues a long time ago & good BBQ is few & far between.
BTW I grew up in Memphis & used to go to Beale St before they "homogenized" it.

I probably wouldn't have been as on edge, but I was in an area with a history of robberies and shootings. Maybe SC does need to get its shite together.

The first Night I ever spent in Memphis there was a drive-by shooting next to the back of the property we were staying. I watched through an iron fence as the homicide investigators cased the scene.

Most of Memphis is ghetto as frick. The southeastern edge of the city is nice but that's it.

What? It's godawful all the way from downtown to Mississippi. There's one area of SE that is okay and midtown is alright. But north, south, and downtown are all terrible.
