Im looking for a place that can hold a 2-3 day meeting for around 50 employees. We have used the casinos in Philadelphia in the past, and are trying to find somewhere new. We need a place with enough rooms for everyone and want some type of entertainment nearby (golf, lake, etc.) Any ideas?

I think lakes Grenada, Sardis and Enid have cabins at their respective state parks. That's literally all I can think to do in North/Central MS that isn't a casino unless you want to be in one of the college towns.

Mallard Pointe State Park just outside of Oxford has a hotel and a "lodge," I believe
Downtown Inn, Oxford
Ole Miss Inn, Oxford (best bet; large convention center)
Colonel's Quarters just outside of Oxford is a fantastic venue and has a large event space, along with a splendid pool, fantastic bar, and plenty of places to stay (and the scenery is wonderful, if you know what I mean)
The Icehouse, Oxford (for the event, not a hotel)
The Lyric Theater, Oxford (for the event, not a hotel)

Eagle Lake.

Then there is Raymond, Mississippi. Has a real nice one down at the junior college. Nearby lake and golf course.

The Alluvian. I was there a few weeks ago and was impressed with the hotel and it's immediate surroundings. The rest of town was very unimpressive.
