We've brought vehicles to Drivon's auto service for as long as I can remember and have been happy.

Been going to Autoville for 17 plus years. Never had a complaint. Across from Chevron on 59 and on hwy 22.

Eric's car care. Trust a lot and the only one we use for around ten years now.

Berard's on Girod St in Mandeville. Prices are calculated based on a computer program. Labor is about 80/hr. I have relatives who are mechanics in NOLA and they charge way more. He's always cognizant of the price and will suggest options to lower costs if need be. He's never tried to upsell me in 13 years.

I wouldn't go anywhere besides CarMedic on Hwy 59 north of I-12 towards Abita.

Brannigan's in Madisonville has always been good to me. It's a small family owned place, but the old man and the sons have always been easy to work with. I think they're honest and not trying to sell you things you don't need.

I used Autoville on 22 a few times and liked them. Service was good and the people were friendly. Then, I took my car in for an oil change before a long trip and got a hard sell about a tire that, admittedly, was pretty old. I had to go to Toronto for a funeral, so I was nervous and ended up renting a car for the trip. That tire ended up lasting ~4 more years until the car was flooded in Isaac. It kind of made me think that Autoville overstated the imminent demise of that particular Michelin tire.

Drivon's & Berard's are both solid and fair. Definitely stay away from carMedics, horrible experiences there

Second Danny's on 59.

Honest and will shoot straight. Won't do services unless they are required/no tack ons.
