i love how you keep harping on this, but Gasser's previous road rage violence at the same location isn't worth bringing up. Dont kid yourself, if McKnight had a criminal incident it would be the first thing you mentioned.

He has a few and it hasn't really been mentioned

Should we pull up Joe McKnigts criminal record and post it all over this board? Would that make any difference is this particular case at all?

Really, Gasser's a-hole quotient is up in the air.

well let's see, this is the second time he's been in a violent road rage incident. Meanwhile McKnight had no criminal record. Interesting double standard.

I believe JM has a criminal record. Google it.

I wonder if seeing a white man giving him a bad time set JM off the deep end?

look it's the race card again!

Not at all. Do you know that JM had no ill feelings towards white folks? I don't, but I don't know if Gasser had ill feelings towards black people. Not the race card at all. I've followed this entire thread and don't know if you're white or black. Assuming you're white, you are carrying tons of white guilt.

Link? this is honestly the very first Ive heard of it. Not saying you are wrong, but I think it's odd it hasnt been brought up more.

Depends what it is. Prior road rage violence is pretty damn relevant to a road rage case. Sorry if that disrupts the narrative that Gasser was innocently buying groceries when McKnight decided to go beat up some unsuspecting model citizen.

How can you not understand that something that happened 10 years ago is not the same as the actual facts of this case?

Some of you will think that Mcknight is not responsible for his own death, no matter what evidence proves that you are wrong.

Gasser may be charged. Gasser may be convicted of a crime. Right now what is known publicly is Gasser hasn't been charged and most logical people are waiting to see more information. What you and a few others are doing is speculating on every reason why Gasser should already have been charged, convicted, sentenced to death, and executed all in less than 48 hours of the incident.

I am done with you dumbasses.

I just googled "Joe McKnight criminal record." Haven't seen anything yet, but it may be sandwiched somewhere in between all the references to Gasser's criminal record.

Someone mentioned earlier, and I tend to agree, that brandishing the weapon alone could have been enough to scare off JM. If he's trying to get into your car and you pull out a weapon, I doubt he'll continue. The law allows you to shoot him just for trying to come into the vehicle, but it is reasonable to believe you could have kept him out by just brandishing the weapon.

If you are truly in fear of your life, that's a really stupid thing to do.

Because it is potentially admissible 404b evidence in trial? Do you even know what that is? (of course not). I understand it totally sinks your narrative, but information that can be used in trial is worth discussing here. The judge won't just go "hey this happened ten years ago, lets not bring it up." You don't have a clue.

He's been in the public eye for 10+ years, you should be able to provide ample evidence of any criminal history.

Do your own fricking homework. I'm not on trial here and don't have to prove anything that's irrelevant to this case.

I'm pretty good at using the google machine and "Joe+McKnight+Arrest" yields no relevant results. Maybe you can enlighten me on the proper search terms to use.

ETA: Oh wait one arrest for no insurance card, switching lanes with no signal, and failure to stop at a traffic signal. I guess that's a "long list". It was 4 pages in and from 2013. Only relevance is that he switched with no signal, which everyone probably already assumed happened the other day.

I know what 404B evidence and I'm sure, if there is enough evidence here to charge Glasser, there'll be a Prieur hearing and it'll be brought in by the state. But there has to be evidence of a crime here.

Charged =/= Convicted.

Legally, he did not commit simple battery.

The entire story could have been a complete fabrication for all we know
