That is the only class I failed.
Took it first semester freshman year with a complete hardass prof and no prior experience with calculus. If you wanted to hope to keep up you had to spend 4+ hours on it every weekday. Even the Tulane transfers found it hard (this was Katrina year).
If you aren't math focused, or if you aren't up to scratch on your algebraic rearrangements it can be hard. The calc principles themselves are easy enough. It is the applications that can be a bitch.
