This show wouldn't last beyond the first year. Al's character fat shames the shite out of women on a daily basis, along with sexist comments every show. The SJWs would cry out in unison vs this show and get in cancelled.

This thread happens once a month in the political board or the movie/tv board where folks claim that a show back in the day wouldn't make it today when in fact it would be tame by today's standards.

MWC wouldn't make it on the air today. All in the Family and the Jeffersons (and probably Sanford and Son) probably wouldn't make it either.

Yep, if anything the criticism would be that the humor is too broad (no pun intended) because irony is in these days. I personally think the show holds up great, though.
