I watched a documentary on her and she does seem "reformed" but sorry. Some things are beyond second chances. And maybe she wouldn't have been sentenced as harshly in the first place if her and buddies didn't try to make a mockery of the trial.

She got her "break" when her death sentence was converted to life. She didn't deserve even that, much less freedom.

If not, then it was almost 50 years ago and she was 19 and brainwashed. It's too late for her to ever live normally anyway. Let her out of jail and live in some sort of assisted living halfway house or something. Who cares?
