What makes that Valero a big time target (and I too stop there three times a week also):
a) It's right by one of the notoriously worst neighborhoods in BR -- persons who you would not see in the nearby Spring Lakes and Preserve subdivisions.
b) They offer cashback when you make a debit card purchase -- something for the life of me I cannot understand.
c) It is isolated on a corner and at 5 am, none of the nearby businesses are open...get away across Burbank or down Bluebonnet into Nicholson.
They are going to have to offer a reward if they want this piece of shite to pay for what he did. Also, I am pretty sure the clerk who was on during this time is a very friendly, short-fro 40-year-oldish black female who is always sweet to customers. She has kids and grandkids. I hope she is okay.

I honestly can't even remember the last time a white guy committed a violent robbery in this city. I'm sure it has happened but it just easily be 15 black incidents for every 1 white incident.
