Man, I sure am glad that EVERY weather forecast didn't predict a sunny weekend

I know. I listened to the forecast yesterday and wore a thin tee shirt. Then I spent almost 12 hours freezing my arse off in Folsom. Thank god I had a horse cooler in the trunk.

Stupid weather

Yep, my one day off work and it's dreary. Let these days happen when you're stuck at work. Oh well, it'll probably be gorgeous tomorrow.

I prepared better for the barn today and layered.

Of course, just as I was leaving, the sun came out.

I prefer 70s. Though it feels good right now it reminds me that stupid winter is coming. My horse is CRAZY when it's cold.

At lunch it was 63 with stiff breeze out north.

Not what I'd call ideal, but for oct it beats last weekend .

You're on the north shore aren't you? You ever come into contact with a vet with the initials ADB?

I'm in Baton Rouge, actually. Just tend to head over to Folsom/Covington for horse shows. Don't know the vets out there. Sorry.

If that person works at the track the husband may know them.

Horses are the Doc's specialty, they are NOLA transplants. No biggie, thanks for the response.

Thankfully (fingers crossed, knock wood) I haven't needed a vet when I've been out there. If i do ever need one I'll check for those initials

They do any repro work? Might have been my vet for the baby I bred and mare I lost, but that all went through the farm where we had them boarded.

Always a plus.

Not sure what that is. I know they have a farm, so who knows.
Hopefully you never need them!
