PLANO, TEXAS (CNN) - Friends of a Texas woman say they learned of her death on Facebook.
Apparently the woman's boyfriend and presumed killer posted a picture of her body, along with a selfie both covered in blood.
Fran stamey/spears' friend) "We were looking at Facebook and saw these very strange pictures", said Fran Stamey.
Fran Stamey was shocked to find grisly photos of a dead woman on her friend Jennifer Spears Facebook page.
"The pictures were not clear although they were extremely scary I just started to reach out to our mutual friends to see if anybody knew anything", said Stamey.
The pics were accompanied by a blood covered face photo of a man police say is Kenneth Amyx along with messages that said please pray for us and love you all.
"It's hard to think that somebody would just do something like that and have the guts to post something like that", said Stamey.
Police were called and forced their way into the 43-year-old woman's apartment where she was found dead from knife wounds.
Police say Amyx had minor knife wounds and was taken to the Collin County jail because he had outstanding warrants for child sex offenses.
"They were just like to normal people I didn't know that they weren't together I don't know who they were", said Dunafan,
Neighbors thought Amyx lived in the apartment, but Spears friends question whether they were a couple.
Late this evening Facebook removed the photos for violating policy after dozens of complaints accusing the social media site of being disrespectful.
"She was a really good friend. I'm angry upset frustrated what is the world coming to I mean not only committing the crime but posting pictures", said Dunafan.
A representative for Facebook told reporter JD Miles, graphic photos are not a violation of its policy and even though the pictures were flagged, they could not be removed until monitors determined the victim's profile had been hacked.

They say nothing is official until it's Facebook official.

Shocked this was in Texas and not Florida.

Apparent suicide pact
quote:
A man suspected of fatally stabbing his girlfriend over the weekend told Plano police the couple had made a suicide pact and “agreed to stab one another until they died,” according to a probable cause affidavit.
Kenneth Alan Amyx told police that his girlfriend “had chickened out” and “he had to finish her off,” according to the affidavit released Tuesday.

So she chickened out yet this sick frick is the one who is still alive. Sounds plausible.

You know those stories about parents catching their kids smoking, so they make them smoke the entire pack...
