I forgot to take pics before I cut the head (hood) off and removed the beak.

the japanese eat live octopus. that'd be similar to a coonass eating a live crawfish, or jim beam eating a live chicken.

I'd like to try it. I've eaten live abalone and it was really good. Not really on the same level as far as size though.
I was surprised how cheap you can get them.

Little fricker went crazy and scratched the frick out of my friend and ran off.
Probably cock-blocked him. He'll be back when the temp drops and his ladyfriend doesn't feed him or keep him warm at night.

This one's a he. The big guy from way back. Chance of not running into one of my female exes at the tailgate is pretty small, though.

Where does one procure an octopus around here?
Posted on 10/29/15 at 1:00 pm to Jones
was scuba diving in mexico once and one of the mexican dudes on the boat would free dive about 30 ft and come up with a conch. we'd squeeze some lime on them and eat them live.

I've eaten octopus a few times. It's not bad but the texture is weird. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it again.
