Any of y'all know about/can explain this 90s Bar Crawl going on tomorrow? I have plans and won't be there.. but I keep hearing people talk about it.

I go onto the website and the tickets are $40.. for .. a cup? Then you have to pay for drinks at each participating bar.. and THEN the bars participating are not all walkable.

So what exactly is the $40 for? Are they driving you in busses? If not, why pay?

Right? At least if you were bussed to these destinations, it would make sense.. But two of these places are on College Drive and one at Perkins Overpass. Makes no sense.

I love how they listed the music and the crowd as part of your ticket price

You pay $40.. probably as some type of "registration fee" that might come with a free drink or something. You might get a band or a stamp and when you go to other bars they might offer you drink specials or something.

I just read their entire website. It's not a charity or any kind of donation, or if it is, they aren't making it known as far as I can tell.

And the "specials" are fairly normal specials. And some if the bars are like 10+ minutes apart. I'm not seeing the worth of $40 here

I could probably show up at these bars without the special cup and most would still give the discount. Hell, even without the discount, I wouldn't be paying $40 so wouldn't care.
