I can get a grilled chicken breast salad and two pieces or cups of fruit for $2 from the cafe at work. And their chicken is much better than I can make

Of course

Weights. I was gonna have 1 Oz pecans, 1 banana and a few blueberries and 6 Oz plain yogurt and a little raw honey in a smoothie

I love the Cinnamon Roll ones and the Coconut Cashew Ones. I have the brownie ones if I get a chocolate craving and throw the strawberry cheesecake ones in bc they are the lowest in calories. That's pretty much how I switch them up.

weights - You will enjoy them if you are a restricted eater. It's not like chowing down on a bag of doritos but it is satisfying (and the nutritional value makes it taste better than it is to me). Salt and Vinegar sucked and the Sea Salt tasted like cardboard. I like the other three flavors (Cheddar/Sour Cream, Sour Cream/Onion, BBQ).

I'll keep that in mind.
I heard a privately owned GNC in town gives better deals than the franchised ones
Going to check it out this week
Thanks

I'm baking a 3 layer carrot cake tonight from scratch. It's for someone else so I hope I can keep my grubby little paws off of it. Carrot cake is my favorite too.

Nothing better than carrot cake from scratch. My aunt makes one that is absolutely awesome.

I adapted the recipe from my Mom's. I'm just worried about finding good pecans down here. I could always find fresh ones in NELA. Someone told me to try Dorignac's.

It's the icing that makes it so dang good....and I'm not a fan of regular icing...cream cheese icing on the other hand.

One of the cooks on my second boat thought he be a hero and make a carrot cake from scratch. This dude shredded some carrots and dropped them into regular white cake batter and baked it. A real fricking genius.

This is the same guy that also made a lemon cake that was so fricking bitter it was inedible. He sliced up the lemon rinds and put them in the cake... it was horrible.

Same here. I cut off most cake icing and throw it away. Not on carrot cake, though.
