He is sleeping in the bedroom now. I'm about to go buy him some ice cream for his throat like a good wife.

Last bowl of this fantastic soup I essentially made up this weekend.

Have a box of Cheez Its for snacking later.

I wasnt sure if she made that help board thread because she was actually upset that people were derailing threads she was posting in or because she used to get in trouble for doing that so she was just being bitchy about it.

I have a white chicken chili cooking in the crockpot right now. House smells amazing, can't wait to see how well it turns out.

Giiiiiirl. Don't even get me started.

For some unknown reason, we can't convince the money lady to put a damn toaster oven in the kitchen. Can't figure it out. You can get one on Amazon for $30. Apparently it's a sore subject, and I shouldn't even bring it up to her. I really don't get it. I am seriously considering getting my own and keeping it in my office

So everything on Thanksgiving will have to be brought in crock pots or reheated in the microwave

Only the turkey will be non-nuked; as we will have a smoker.

On top of that, I work with the most eclectic group of people.. where have things on the sign-up sheet like buffalo chicken lasagna, bbq sauce smokies/meatballs, crock pot mashed potatoes (how do you boil a potato in that?), etc.

I've been wanting to try out a white chili.

I love crock pot chili in general.

My family is like this. We have most of the traditional shite, but everybody just brings what they do best. I hope we have hot tamale balls. Those things kick arse.

Catering seems ideal if you don't want people to leave the office. Something about eating stuff from people's homes I've never been to gives me the weirds. I see myself picking from what I bring. Maybe a little turkey from the smoker.

We do at our work...course because we are actually working on Thanksgiving.

Usually the cafeteria gives us a free turkey/ham dinner to anyone working as well.

Meh. I wanted the traditional stuff because there's a good chance I'm in College Station for Thanksgiving

No one has signed up for staples like cornbread dressing.

Bellue's does one with crawfish etouffee poured on top that I might go get.

Reminds me of the etrade commercial out right now where he tools on the guy for his buffet choices. "Who else would have thought that three cheese lasagna, chocolate cake and ceviche belonged on the same plate?"

Before Thanksgiving and Christmas we do a half-day and cook lunch for the guys.

The laborers are poor so they like free food.

I cook for The Skirts and the poors at my place too. Skirts and Poors both like to eat.
