Smoke Lavall?

Good example, but I personally don't think so. Lavall was handed the keys to a Ferrari. His first year he went 44-22 and got a super. SEC Championship and named SEC Coach of the Year in 2003. CWS the next year. He actually had 4 solid years. It took an SEC losing record over an entire season to push people over the edge.

Coach O went from supported and hopeful, to despised, overnight. And honestly, he probably earned it after MSU. His behavior on the sideline was opposite of what most fans were led to believe.

i think after it became official it hit its peak

LSU officially became a joke and the smart posters were like, "i'll show you a joke" while the O faithful couldn't understand it

the rest of his quasi-supporters bought into the notion that LSU was not a rebuild and we just needed continuity and a spark to shed some of the issues of miles. now that the excuse is "this is actually a rebuild", people are asking why O was hired. either Alleva was stupid or lied to the fanbase, but regardless, hiring Ed Orgeron to rebuild a major program like LSU is possibly the worst major CFB hire the past 30 years

The administration convinced people that CFB didn't really need a head coach. You just need a great OC and DC, and your head coach is purely a recruiter. People bought into that. Now, they are second guessing.

But to be fair, Les REALLY left the cupboard bare at many positions. He was a master at getting a Top 5 recruiting class by signing 15 4* and 5* DB's, another 4-5 5* WR, to obtain the high ranking, while never addressing specific needs. And he also allowed a mentality of giving up when you felt like you were out of the NC.

You aren't as stupid as some say.

I'm still hoping that O is the man. LSU sure looks like crap though. And I've posted several times that O has a confused look about him a lot, as in "they really made me the head coach" look. He may not be very smart, and LSU may be in trouble, but I still like him for now.

Jimbo Fisher & Rapeis Winston = Gene Chizik & Cam Newton.

Also, were LSU fans clamoring for Jeff Brohm last year, or is he just the flavor of the month?

He isnt. He looks completely lost out there.

Kind of reminds me of a person that is just way in over his head and instead of just being his normal self, he tries to act the part and fail miserably. He played cheerleader(which he is great at) to get the job and is now trying to play coach. I dont blame him or dislike him. He just isnt the man for the job.

At the time of our coaching change, we were arguably considered a top 5-6 coaching spot. Anyone not named Saban, Harbaugh, or Meyer should have been available and attainable.

The game Saturday was pathetic. The team is not good. The place was half empty before half time

These are pics from Saturday

I'll always be hopeful. But after seeing us get pushed around by MS. St. and Syracuse, I realized that this is way worse than I thought. Even with a bare cupboard, we have more talent than either of those teams. But our lines, both of which supposedly Coach O excels with, look atrocious. You can't win with horrible lines.

And he sure doesn't seem to have the fire that he was sold to have.

Skil, Bama is going to beat us by 84 points. I have a feeling after that, ou might not be sold on him any longer.

All that said, I'll take O over Miles all day, every day.

The grapes may help but you might want to skip the packet for the ramen
