I work from home as well. It's not technically vacation but just A LOT less work.

It is def a perk. But like tgr mentioned...I do still have to work weekends and holidays on occasion. So it's a trade off.

However I'm looking forward to next month. I'll be off for 2 weeks and only using 36 hours of vacation time. Now that will be great.

I gotcha, I tried working from home...I couldnt do it.

Getting up early and leaving the house to go to my office is my most favorite part of the day..

Really? Interesting. Another reason it's a little more cush like it is for me is because I travel a good bit for work so they give me a little more leeway when I'm home.

I travel too, but mostly by car..If I had to travel as much as you do by air I wouldn't mind staying home more....I'm usually only gone 1 or 2 nights a week a the most...and that includes weekends. I'm definitely home more now than I was, 5-10 years ago

That's actually a true statement....my wife's old boss bought us Cubs hats...I exchanged mine for a visit because the top of my head won't fill a hat
