I think this should sum it up - I went to school in Uptown NOLA, but partied at LSU on the weekends.

Precisely - I was the local that didn't fit the general demographic of Loyola/Tulane. Couldn't put up with the northeastern trust funders - at least Loyola had the music school kids who didn't fit in either.

My sister went to Tulane and became a liberal. I think that speaks for itself

Tulane alumni go back home to the Northeast and start a business when they graduate.

False - LSU has greater quality AND quantity.

I see what you did there....

Having spent a lot of time during college in both areas, the 1:59ers leaving the bars in BR were easier pickings - all of the girls in NOLA would be passed out by the time you get them home (not into that type of "easy")

The fake southern belle complex LSU girls tend to have make them a lot less likely to do so than Tulane girls.

Agreed. Nothing beats LSU in the fall. Would also add that spring time in New Orleans is one of the best parts about going to school in Nola - there's some type of festival / event every single weekend.

Another interesting dynamic is the respective student bodies. LSU is all Louisiana, Texas, maybe MS kids. Tulane has kids from every corner of the country. I've got best Tulane friends that are from all over the place - NY, Boston, Baltimore, Miami, San Fran, just to name a few.
