Maybe if 300 years ago Africans fought against their fellow countrymen and Muslim enslavers as hard as the confederate army fought, there would have been no slaves to begin with.

I could maybe agree with the SJW on this one - what the frick is the point of a "Daughters of the Confederacy" group anyway? I get that it's a complete double standard then that black students get their own union, etc. etc. I get that so for that reason I'm against the PC factor. But the daughters of the confederacy sounds fricking lame

What is the point of any group?
To give people something to do until they either find something better to occupy their time, or they die.
Why are people in church choirs? Soccer Clubs? Garden societies? The OT?
To occupy their time. So if they are paying, with their own money, to host an event that isn't actively hurting anyone else, then the rest of the world can go piss up a rope if they are "offended".
