Dudley Debosier is running ads stating that they are the "Official Injury Lawyers"
for LSU. Can't help but wonder if the University is actually authorizing such a
relationship with any law firm as "Official Injury Lawyers" for LSU.

Of course they did. It's all about the money right? They probably paid a big chunk of money to have that title.

Trial lawyers AND public universities do not possess the capacity to contemplate shame, much less feel it. (And I ought to know, as I'm a recovering trial lawyer, myself.)

It's a marriage made in heaven.

LSU sold it's marketing rights to LSU Sports Properties.

LSUSP can sell what they want to sell

Eta: they are getting desperate for revenue at sports properties I think.

I'd you look at the amount of ads in the stadium that are for lsusports.net and other LSU branded items, those are unsold ads. And it looks like the old Team LSU and Tiger partner levels are running low/dry.

For the life of me I do not understand why LSU doesn't self perform the advertising and signage. They are literally taking dollars and sending them to CBS headquarters

LSU absolutely authorized that and is getting paid $$$ for it. Craziest thing is they managed to categorize D&D as "Injury Lawyers", leaving room for anyone who wants to be tOfficial Contract Lawyers, Divorce Court Lawyers, Business Law Lawyers, etc of LSU

Nah, that would require a lawyer with actual courtroom skills, not high volume/low settlement guys like D&D.

Not sure this type of ad gets the bang for the buck. Who chooses a lawyer based on this distinction?

Dudley Debosier is probably the most shamless, unethical bunch of hacks in the state. This is truly an embarrassment for all LSU alumni.

Absolutely disgusting, I was completely embarrassed when I heard these commercials. I guess LSU will next take money from the Gold Club and they can have the official lap dance of LSU Sports. From what I've heard a lot of people have complained to the athletic department about this. You would think they would care a little more about protecting their brand, and not being absolute whores for a few dollars.

I don't even blame them really, but I think it's cheezy as hell that LSU would do that.

You. I like you.

Lawyers are necessary and they do good work for the most part but the profession still attracts way too many greedy and shady pieces of shite.
