Calling OT Ballers,

This Friday night, the first year medical class at LSU will be hosting the annual Camp Tiger Benefit Auction at NOMA to raise money for Camp Tiger - a summer camp for kids with special needs in the NOLA/BR areas. In its 30th year, Camp Tiger and the Auction is organized and run solely by the first year class on top of all that studying, so come out and show your support. Auction items range from signed sports memorabilia, vacation packages, artwork, etc. Admission gets you the open buffet and open bar, and all proceeds go directly to the Camp Tiger fund.

www.camptiger.org

Tickets can be pre-ordered or purchased at the door.

What: Camp Tiger Benefit Auction
Where: New Orleans Museum of Art
When: Friday, March 28th - doors open at 7

Agreed.

The auction is a good time and the camp is very rewarding.

Maybe I'm just coldhearted, or elitist, but I just do not agree that we should be sending special needs children to medical school.

It's usually not until mid-late April, but this year the administration moved it up to be closer to Family Day. Sucks, but it's what we have to work with

I thought all that was pocket change for doctors. Seems like the could roll up in their Jag, peel a few bills off, drink some Christal and eat caviar, and be done with it.

That is a damn fun event. One of the best charity food events that I know of.
Luckily I'm going for about the 10th year in a row at the invitation of a sponsor family.
