I have a friend that did and it sounds like it was worth every penny.

I have a friend that went on one last week to South America that looked legit in all the FB photos.

If you can swing it without burying yourself in student debt, absolutely. I did 6 weeks in Europe and it was the tits.

I did undergrad study abroad for a summer at UGA. It was fun, but I regret it now. Should have been doing an internship or working or something else. Now, on top of other student loans, I'm paying off the 8k loan I took out for just 6 weeks @ Oxford. When I got there, I was broke ad was only able to go on two trips that the rich kids went on every weekend and that's only after I got bitched at by my mother for not "living life" enough and her sending me money I didn't want to accept. Yes, I'm a bit of a bitter bitch about the experience. Something else happened on the trip I'm not talking about on here.
If you are easy going with money to spare, it'll be fine. I did learn a ton about my subjects, and you will have a blast. But I just didn't get as much out of it as the 80 other people on the trip.
Also, something else to take note of is how rigorous the studies are on your trip. My sister and I both went to Oxford for study abroad. She didn't ever do work for the program she went on through her school. I had 12 page research papers every week and homework every night for my 8 or 9 AM classes the next day.

Are you in the MBA program? I don't believe they allow students not in the program to travel with the group.

LSU MBA trip to China.
Don't know how much I paid, but it was worth it to see Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai and all that is China. And to have a guide/translator as well as access to businesses/places you never would outside of an MBA trip is worth it. Not to mention later having a framed pic of you at the Great Wall hanging in your office.
One of a kind experience, IMO.

Did this trip with Southeastern. For 2 weeks it was only 3-4k or so? Most of it being the flight. I'll never regret it and had an absolute blast.
