Was always a fan of this.. And make a good example, like say a crap out of conference game, to donate some proceeds to charity from the 3rd quarter beer sales.

Title is misleading.
It wont be available to the masses as its still against SEC rules to sell alcohol to the general public.
This would only be for suite/club level ticket holders.

This is part of the full article. The overall goal is for it to reach everyone but as of now the SEC wont allow it. Im betting Joe makes it happen but initially just for the premium seating which is currently allowed by the SEC
quote:
The SEC prohibits its 14 member schools from selling alcohol at athletic events, which is why beer sales at LSU home games are only allowed in the stadium club and suites, technically separate structures from Tiger Stadium.
While university officials are waiting for the green light on the beer garden, they are trying to determine where in the stadium it should be located. Ballard says it will be somewhere below the club and suite levels.
“The goal is to do it for our fans who don’t have access to the premium areas,” he says.

I'd rather be able to leave at halftime to get some food and beer from my tailgate across the street and then walk back in the stadium

All they need is a few cocktail bars and we'll be set
