When stationed in San Diego I went to Kristy's MVP often. Watched a Florida game with a ton of LSU fans including Karl Wilson.
That was 12 years ago though

It's pretty cool how you go in and out of military installations on your way to the point.

When I was there, I saw the Reagan going into port to swap out with the Bush. It's pretty crazy how fast those carriers move.

Isn't there a massive alumni crawfish boil every year in San Diego?

I don't know about LSU bars, but I was recently at Craft & Commerce in Little Italy. Check this place out, it is decorated like you'd want your library in your mansion decorated (taxidermied lion killing a warthog behind the bar) great cocktail menu, etc. On top of that, there's a speakeasy tiki bar called False Idol in the back that is incredible. A buddy and I went in a few weeks ago and got absolutely destroyed on 3 drinks. Then I went and got the best Chili Relleno I've ever had from some food stand. San Diego is legit, congrats. Would also recommend the Ballast Point taproom, great food and brews.

Yep Kristy's is closed. Tried to find an LSU bar for a CWS game and ended up having to go to some random bar.

I had no idea they shut down. I haven't been there since football season, that sucks.

Yes, usually Memorial Day weekend at petco park. I've never been but have friends that would normally go every year(although don't think they went this past year). From what they always told me....it was a huge event and a lot of fun.
