The Student Section has done he same thing to tebow, tubberville, and others. So since none of this is new, why should it change now? Just because those who have "grown up" and aren't students anymore say it has to change? Because those students from the 90's an early 2000's have kids now? That's not how this works.

FYI I am a current student who is displeased with inappropriate mass chanting in a stadium/on television with a bunch of children and families watching. I'm just as entitled to my opinion as you are to yours.

No here's how it works. Students are asked to tone it down a bit, they get louder, they lose tickets. Wash, rinse, repeat until there are 3 students and the band left in that section. That's the future right now, like it or not.

They are always looking at ways to make more money and student tickets are a premium spot. You can deny it, but it's headed that way. The students are giving them the "cause" to do it. The administration just has to sit back and continue to reduce the ticket allotment by small amounts and they'll never know what hit them.

That road you are referring to is decades old. Songs come and go because of this, it's nothing new and that's how you fix a few of the "issues". But for those trying to protect their precious little baby it's absolutely pointless. You will still have plenty of people cussing around you during the game.

The dipshits in the student section were A) at the oldest 12-14 years old when Saban left. and B) have no clue why they hate him, they just do.
This is the same student section that does not know any of the band songs and dances/moves that go with each. They turned the song "neck" into some juvenile taunt, so now the band rarely plays it.
The same student section, that also, leaves the game early. You are a student, you don't have anywhere to be, and you have no traffic to beat. Stay in the stands, and stay loud.
Damn kids these days...get off my lawn.

The students are why we even have a football team...because its a university. I swear man some of y'all just love to hate the students now that you are older. You are out of your fricking mind if you think tickets will be taken away from students just because the athletic department wants more money.
The students don't run to Joe Blow who pays out the arse for a ticket. They celebrate with their peers in the student section. The ones they party with, study with, date, and so on.
