LSP Background check?

I had something expunged from my records months ago. I wanna get a copy of my background check from LSP to see if it came off yet.
If I go to the office and submit the request and pay, how long would it take to get it back?
A few days? Instant?, etc etc

If it's your driving record, you can get it online from the DPS website.
I get it every year and keep a copy in my car. It costs $15.00.

I would think immediately, not sure though.
When I went to the court house to pick up some documents on my background for a concealed carry license I got my papers instantly.

Asking out of curiosity... Why do you get it? Why keep it in the car?

Should have added it's available immediately...pay for it with a card and it's there.

Honestly at my ripe "young age", I'm somewhat of a contrarian. When I go through an insurance/license check, I have it paper clipped to the insurance card and show it to the officer. I always get a funny look and get sent on my way.
Us retired guys get our jollies in different ways !

Here is a tip.
If anyone serious is digging for the information you are wishing is gone, they will find it whether its on that paper LSP gives you or not.

You are right. Just because something has been expunged doesnt mean that a 3rd party won't find out about it when they start doing their records search and background check.

That is a court document that is signed by a judge.
If the procedure has been signed off on then, one your attorney will mail you a copy of the paperwork and two there will be a copy of it at the Clerk of Couts office.

Once you have had an criminal arrest expunged from your record, nothing exist to see except with the Feds. All others law enforcement sees nothing because nothing exist. On local and state levels the file is destroyed.

Expungement =/= destruction. And law enforcement will still have access, as will certain specified entities.

This is blatantly false.
I just had a comprehensive background check done on me, and anything that was expunged or pleaded down did not show up.
I used article 894 in LA, and a similar article in OK.
Nada!

show up at LSP Headquarters, pay for a Right to Review, get fingerprinted, and get your background check instantly.

Your arrest record all still shows up in the LSP computers, and a lot of officer's computers. What you got arrested for won't ever be taken off. It won't come through on most private background checks unless you get a serious one done. Sorry Charlie
I'd show you mine, but I don't want to brag

Maybe yours wasn't as comprehensive as you think it was. There's still a record of the arrest out there.
