Not a quick relief but last time I had back pain I got a firm mattress and it went away. It actually made it worse for like a week but then went away for good after that.

Nope, in fact, you should probably just start lifting heavy things by bending over at the waist, that always helps me out.

Highest % of Capsaicin patch you can find. The Wal-mart brand works best for me.

Depends. Are you looking for pain relief or a happy ending?

I've been using that Australian Dream Back Pain Cream, works pretty good along with weed and alcohol.

Oh and do as much stretching as you can.

how much is "left" and how much is "back"? if it is more lower left side and back than lower left back you could be looking at "flank pain", or "yo kidney be fricked" pain.

Drink two bottles of water and give it 30 minutes, then drink a third one. Don't guzzle them, but drink them down. You could be dehydrated. Could be kidney stones also.
