I don't understand why everyone gets triggered when "climate change" is mentioned.

The climate IS changing. Always has been, always will be.

There are a number of things that threaten coastal communities. Seas rise and fall, always have, always will. it sure seems like we are in a rise period.

To call them "climate change refugees" is dramatic and unnecessary, but the fact is that the water is rising and the land is sinking and less new land is being formed, and all of that is bad.
