I hit my 4 iron 200 and my 3 wood 230-240ish. What sort of hybrid should I purchase to be able to hit in the 210-220 range?

19 degree. It's basically a 5 wood. I have a RBZ gen 1 5 wood and will hit it until I break it. Just pick a hybrid you like and get it at 17-19 degrees

Do you happen to know the loft on your 3-wood?

This is probably the best you will find.

220yds is a bit of a stretch IMO.

I'll have to look, but I believe it is 19 degree.

I hit an Adams 19 deg 3 Hybrid and 13.5 deg 3 wood. They are probably 6+ years old but still hot.

Like Chappy said I'll hit them till they break

Just go hit everything you can. Have a few demo days coming up this month. I have a 19* titliest 915h, but like chappy I have 1st Gen rbz hybrids that I going to reshaft and use those instead.

Two summers ago I finally broke down and purchased 3 and 4 hybrids. Changed my game... I am in the same range as you-- 4/200 and 3/215. I went to Edwin Watts and swung everything they had (probably 5 different hybrids). I settled on the Callaway X2 Hot clubs with a mid-sized grip and have never looked back. I've had several friends hit them on the course and they all love them.

All that being said, you should go to a Golf Shop that will allow you to swing DEMO clubs. I'm not telling you to buy the Callaways, just suggest you include them for consideration. It's up to your swing and your feel.

what 3 wood do you have?

I'm anal about this, but I try to keep my hybrids and woods in the same brand line, to keep consistent feel, look, and most importantly swing weight.

That said, hit as many as you can, but don't short change yourself an not hit the Cobra's. Haven't had a chance to hit the new King line, but the Fly-Z woods from last year are loooong.
