Specifically something that is light with moderate support. Will be used for running, basketball, and weight training.

Anyone use one or have reviews of one (either positive or negative)?

Thanks in advance.

LINK

I've always used these and they've worked very well for my fricked up left ankle.

I was looking at one similar to that.

Do you have a lot of mobility in it

The ASO is the best for what you want.

I play basketball in it. I can pretty much do whatever I want without my ankle deciding to roll on me.

I have to say that I've had good luck with McDavid products - I was using them before I even realized they were at Academy.

ASO, McDavid and Veluxio seem to be the highest rated on Amazon.

also has great reviews. Looks like it might provide too much restriction on movemnet.

I've been using a malleoloc for 20 years for lateral support for tennis and basketball and a malleotrain for lighter support when running.

The malleoloc was originally prescribed by my ortho and can be custom fit to your foot by warming it in hot water. It provides a lot of support in a low profile brace.
