I'm standing in a wedding, and we've been told to wear navy suits and brown shoes/belts. The couple apparently likes the look of slightly different shades of navy and brown. And for the guys who own navy suits, they are doing them a favor. I don't have a navy suit, and the occasion when I will need to wear one in the future will be very rare.

Save me money, OT. I believe in you.

I bought a navy Ralph Lauren suit at Steinmart for cheap. I get compliments on it and it fits pretty well for an "off-the-rack" option.

Navy suit should be a go-to for any wedding in the future.

Either the JC Penny suit or go to Burlington Coat Factory. They have a navy Calvin Klein suit for around $100-$125.

Whatever you buy, please have it tailored so you don't look like a slob.

Macy's always has good prices on suits if you're not too picky on brand. I picked up a blue Kenneth Cole suit for $100 a few weeks ago for a wedding. Got less than $200 in it after having it tailored, so I'm happy.

Cannot stress this enough. The proper fit is worth every penny.
