Kidding aside, I use to laugh at people in Boulder and their gear. I thought the pretentious liberal thing was just rednecks talking out of their asses. But I found out what happens when you lean too far left, and have too much money and free time.

I've been rocking the blue tarp. It does the trick. Though it's not good for backpacking. I may trim it one day, to minimize packing space.
I had a cheap double hammock I bought at Costco for $25. But i upgraded to a Grand Trunk with the straps for $40 on Facebook. I've been sleeping like shite lately, so I'm curious if the new one will help. If not, I'll sell it for what I paid.
That's the nice thing about a college town. Kids that have rich parents to buy them nice things, but need beer money. There's some great deals to be had.
